About Us
We are FIRST FTC team 16008, the Armored Artemises. This upcoming season will be our 7th season as a team. We have been the Connecticut state champions 4 times, and we have gone to worlds 3 times. As of last season, we mentored 8 FTC teams, and 7 FLL teams. We also had 10 sponsors. Our team mission is to make STEAM accessible to as many people and communities possible.

This is Julia's third season in the team. She wants to improve her leadership skills and organization.
This is Chip's second season on the team. This season, she wants to connect with more teams and people.
This is Lindsay's first season on the team. This season, her goal is to learn how to program.
This is Andrew's first season on the team. This season, his goal is to be more positive.
Coach Hoa is Andrew's father. He mentors our team by helping with building, design, and code. He leads incubation at Kemper.
This is Anya's third season on the team. Her goal is to become more confident and assertive as a team leader.
This is Mabel's second season on the team. She aims to get better at building.
This is Karen's first season on the team. She wants to familiarize herself with robotics.
Coach Rishon is Mabels father. He mentors our team with CAD, building, and more. He works as a mechanical engineer at Pratt and Whitney.
